Our coaches at Recreate Sport are uniquely qualified to deliver inclusive sport sessions. With a deep understanding of adaptive sports and extensive experience working with diverse groups, including individuals with disabilities and those from underrepresented communities, our coaches are experts in creating environments where everyone can participate and thrive.
Recreate Sport are thrilled to announce our partnership with Sense to deliver fortnightly Sensory Sport sessions until March 2025.
These sessions will be taking place on Thursdays 5-6pm at Sense Centre South West.
Sensory sport provides meaningful opportunities for people with complex disabilities to be active. By simplifying sports like football, tennis and snooker we are able to build accessible activities that can be tailored to meet individual needs and abilities.
This person-centred approach means that more disabled people can enjoy the physical, social and mental benefits from taking part in sports activities.

We offer a multitude of benefits to schools, fostering a positive and supportive environment for all students.
By incorporating our sessions into the school curriculum, schools can promote physical health, mental well-being, and social inclusion among their students.
Our tailored approach ensures that every child, regardless of their background or ability, can participate and enjoy the activities, helping to break down barriers and build a sense of community.
These sessions also support schools in meeting diversity and inclusion goals, encouraging empathy, teamwork, and respect among students.
Furthermore, our programmes can enhance the overall school experience by providing students with the opportunity to develop essential life skills, such as resilience, confidence, and leadership, which can translate into improved academic performance and better social outcomes.
We have experience delivering regular curriculum sessions, after school clubs, themed weeks and CPD workshops.
Our sessions can significantly enhance day services for older disabled people by providing opportunities for physical activity, social interaction, and mental stimulation tailored to their needs.
These sessions are designed to be adaptable, ensuring that participants of all abilities can engage at their own pace, which helps to improve mobility, flexibility, and overall health.
Moreover, they offer a social outlet, reducing feelings of isolation by fostering a sense of community and belonging. Engaging in regular, enjoyable physical activities can also boost mood and cognitive function, contributing to better mental well-being.
By incorporating our sessions into day services, older disabled individuals can experience an improved quality of life, maintaining their independence and enjoying a greater sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
We have worked with many charities by complementing their efforts to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
These sessions provide a platform for charities to offer their beneficiaries access to enjoyable, adaptive physical activities that promote both physical health and emotional well-being.
By partnering with Recreate Sport, charities have been able expand their programme offerings, helping their participants build confidence, improve social skills, and develop a sense of community through shared experiences.
Additionally, our expertise in inclusivity ensures that every session is accessible and welcoming.
Our collaboration has also raised awareness about the importance of inclusive sports, attracting more support and funding for charities broader initiatives.
We were lucky enough to deliver our introduction to Kin-Ball workshop to Bath Spa University PGCE trainees. The workshop focused on how we can make sport more inclusive, promote teamwork and use coorperative learning as our teaching method.
Our experience in inclusive sport means that we are able to deliver our inclusion workshops tailored to a variety of sports and/ or settings.
