At Recreate Sport, we’re redefining what sport looks like.
Too often, traditional sports structures feel rigid, exclusive, or intimidating, leaving many people feeling like sport “isn’t for them.” We believe that movement should be for everyone—regardless of background, ability, or past experiences.
Our coaching and mentoring approach breaks away from outdated formats to make sport more engaging, inclusive, and fun. We focus on building confidence, removing barriers, and creating positive experiences that encourage lifelong participation in physical activity.
We work in schools, community spaces, workplaces, and sports clubs, as well as through digital platforms, to meet people where they are—both physically and mentally. Whether it’s through creative coaching sessions, inclusive mentoring, or re-imagining how sport is delivered, our mission is simple: to make sport and physical activity welcoming and accessible for all.
By changing the way people experience sport, we’re helping them build confidence, stay active, and, most importantly, enjoy moving in a way that works for them.

Founder
Dan started coaching at 16 with football being the sport he developed his skills in first of all. This allowed him to experience coaching a variety of sports in Primary and Secondary schools before coaching in America for two years. On his return, he developed his skills in inclusion and learnt how to break down activities and tasks before moving to London to take up a sports development role in Rowing. From here, he returned to Bath six years ago with Bath Rugby Foundation overseeing the school and community delivery and further development work with International Mixed Ability Sports. Away from all things rugby and football, you can find him walking his dog, Maisie!
