At Recreate Sport, we provide tailored mentoring and alternative provision through Qualified Teachers for schools across Bath and North East Somerset (BANES), Bristol, and Wiltshire. Our programmes offer structured, supportive, and engaging activities to help young people develop confidence, resilience, and key life skills.
Our mentoring provision is designed to support young people who may be struggling within mainstream education, facing personal challenges, or in need of additional guidance. We focus on:
• Building Confidence: Encouraging young people to step outside their comfort zone, face challenges, and develop self-belief.
• Enhancing Well-being: Supporting both physical and mental health to ensure holistic growth.
• Strengthening Relationships: Helping young people build positive relationships and make better lifestyle choices.
• Emotional Regulation: Teaching strategies for managing emotions and developing empathy.
• Engaging and Enjoyable Sessions: Making learning fun and meaningful to encourage participation and personal growth.
Our mentoring programme is designed for young people who would benefit from alternative provision outside of traditional classroom settings.
We support:
• Students at risk of exclusion or disengagement from school
• Those struggling with confidence, mental health, or social challenges
• Young people who need additional role models and structured support
• Schools looking for bespoke interventions to help students thrive
Through personalised activities and targeted support, we help young people develop coping strategies, foster a growth mindset, and build practical skills for future success.
Our team consists of qualified professionals, including experienced teachers, youth workers, and sports coaches.
We have a strong track record of working with schools, Alternative Provision Academies, and other educational settings to provide high-quality mentoring and alternative provision.
We specialise in working with underrepresented groups and young people facing barriers to success, ensuring every student feels valued, included, and supported in a safe environment.
We offer flexible, tailored programmes that can be delivered:
• In-school or off-site
• One-to-one or in small groups
• As part of a short-term intervention or long-term mentoring plan
Our goal is to help young people re-engage with learning, develop key life skills, and build a positive future, both inside and outside of school.
